Well, as you know, tonight was the district finals for Battle of the Books. Tanner's team didn't miss a single question until the very last question on the very last round. They ended up in a tie for 5th place. His team did such a great job and were VERY disappointed at the end--we all were. To take 5th place out of our entire school district is not too shabby, but it's still hurting a little tonight. They all were awarded with a pin for participation.

I am proud of you, Tanner. It takes a lot of extra effort to read those books and know all those little details. You take 1st Place in my heart, Tanner.
